• Developed tools for research scientists at Meta Reality Labs in the organization’s contextual AI branch on behalf of The Dev Effect

• Collaborated with the Reality Labs team to regularly provide project updates and gather feedback and new requirements to aid in our development of research tools

• Conducted crucial research to learn how to setup custom tools and components within a Meta internal tool which optimized the time for all future custom work

• Utilized React and Material UI framework to develop a prototype for researchers to work more efficiently as well as later refactored the prototype using Meta’s internal UI framework to make our product fully functional within another Meta internal tool and in Meta’s large-scale codebase

• Spent first 6 weeks of internship fully immersed into the estate planning team by taking part in agile methodologies like daily stand-up, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, etc.

• Made improvements to the estate planning portion of the FreeWill site that were released by completing tickets in Typescript, React, and Javascript

• Formed a team with 3 other engineering interns and the project management intern to build an internal tool for the partner success team in ReTool with FreeWill API calls and Javascript during the final 6 weeks of the internship
