I'm an Android software engineer with 15+ years of deep expertise in camera and media, computational photography, mobile application development, and backend development.

At Google, I lead the Android Camera Extensions Platform. I partner with OEMs to deliver their most advanced camera capabilities (Night Mode, Portrait Mode, etc) through a standardized API layer to millions of users across third-party apps.

I'm currently focused on driving the integration of ML directly into the mobile media capture experience -- for real time and editing use cases. I collaborate with Google researchers, platform engineers, and OEM partners to bridge traditional camera and media pipelines with neural imaging techniques and push the boundaries of mobile photography and videography.

Over my career, I've architected and scaled camera and media solutions across social media, live streaming, voice/video, and audio. This includes from zero-to-one product launches to globally scaled apps. I'm a strong believer in cross-functional collaboration and mentoring the next generation of engineers. I also speak at conferences on advanced Android camera development.

Camera Extensions provides APIs to enable applications access to camera capabilities that allow apps to capture stunning low-light photos, portrait mode, and high dynamic range captures.

Introduced APIs to the Android framework that improved the user experience for high-latency captures and introduced Low Light Boost for real-time low-light preview and video captures.
