•	Designed end-to-end industrial automation systems for healthcare and aerospace/defense customers.

•	Awarded the Summer Undergraduate Studentship award from the University of Toronto. 

•	Developed the very first web accessible DNA modification database.

•	This was the first database of its kind which allowed for the consolidation of diverse and scattered data from many sources, such as research teams and journals, and presented the data in a user friendly, query-able, and collaborative environment.

### Student Researcher & Software Developer @ University Health Network
Jan 2014 – Jan 2014 | University of Toronto and Princess Margaret Hospital, Radiation Medicine Program
•	Developed novel image processing algorithms to mine high resolution pathology images and break down a tumor into more physiologically relevant subunits. Implemented using MATLAB and C++.

•	Automated solution reduced processing time from 8 hours to 30 mins per batch resulting in significant resource savings for the program.
