In particular, I worked on adding two major features: - Added APIs to get publisher and subscription information by topic. - Added support for incompatible event callbacks. Implementing these features involved designing and adding new APIs in core ROS2 packages. These features have now been merged and will be included in the ROS2 Foxy release (or can be found merged on master). ### Site Reliability Engineering Intern @ PlayStation Jan 2019 – Jan 2019 | Orange County, California Area - Worked with the PS Now team in ensuring reliability of the various services used for streaming games. - Worked on benchmarking and testing data migration in an internally used Distributed Cloud Storage system; the migration involved moving hundreds of gigabytes of data between different data centres around the globe, lasting several weeks. - Tested, verified and enabled the balancer plugin on Ceph (a distributed data storage system); this brought down the disk utilisation gap from ~40% to less than 2%. - Created a highly configurable test suite to reproduce bugs faced during restarts and upgrades of various services. ### Graduate Research Assistant - Spring 2019 @ Northeastern University Jan 2019 – Jan 2019 | Greater Boston Area Worked as a Research Assistant under Prof. Cristina Nita-Rotaru at the Interdisciplinary Science & Engineering Complex - Northeastern University where we are explored papers related to decentralized Path-Based Transaction Networks. ### Graduate Teaching Assistant @ Northeastern University Jan 2019 – Jan 2019 | Greater Boston Area Teaching Assistant for CS5004: Object Oriented Programming Responsibilities included helping students with doubts related to their coursework, providing feedback to and helping the Professor better design the curriculum and grading criteria for the course, conducting lab sessions for students and finally, grading various assignments and projects. ### Platform Engineer @ Hasura Jan 2016 – Jan 2018 | Bangalore - Led the development of the Android and iOS SDK; analysed SDKs from other platforms like Parse, Firebase and Realm; incorporated feedback from developers in different organisations to come up with an intuitive and simple design for the interface. - Worked on developing and maintaining Hasura Hub, a repository for community driven projects. - Developed realm-pg-sync, an open source microservice which syncs data between the realm object server and a postgresql database; used to develop offline-first applications. - Built the first(internal) version of api-code-generator(open sourced), a javascript library that generates code to make network API requests in different programming languages. - Built the web UI component of kubeformation.sh, an open source web UI and CLI tool that helps create declarative specifications for your managed Kubernetes vendor; created a dynamic form builder in React. - Represented Hasura at public conferences and events like ReactFoo, IndiaHacks and BHive to speak about their tooling and features. - One of the course instructors for IMAD, a collaborative online course between Indian Institute of Technology(IIT), Madras and Hasura; saw 127,452 registrations; prepared content as well as assignments for the mobile application development section. - In charge of the interns who got through the Hasura Product Development Fellowship program; assigned tasks and conducted weekly review of their work. ### Technology Lead @ Levo Innovations Ltd Jan 2016 – Jan 2016 | Bangalore Being one of the first developers in the team, I built the iOS and Android app natively from scratch.
