I helped to guide the PS5 UX strategy from beginning to end—from early frameworks and visualizations that communicated our overall vision and helped our product leaders make decisions, to nitty-gritty UI guidelines that ensure what we ship is consistent, usable, and beautiful. During my time at PlayStation I also led design for a complete rebuild of the PlayStation mobile app to serve as a companion to our customers’ gaming experience. My role on this project included creating motion graphics and 3D models. ### Entertainment Technology Center Graduate Student @ Carnegie Mellon University Jan 2006 – Jan 2008 | Pittsburgh, PA Selected projects from my graduate studies: Building Virtual Worlds In this intensive course, I collaborated with a multi-disciplinary team to create five different 3D worlds in ten weeks. Spaceship Earth I worked as the 3D Artist and Concept Designer for the digital component of the Spaceship Earth ride at Epcot Center. Concepts and in-game art that I created were used in the final version in Orlando, Florida. Virtual Spaces Our team built a system that would understand user interaction with virtual architectural space. I gathered the components and built a physical hardware system that created a virtual environment for users to explore. Multiplayer iPhone Game I served as Lead Artist and Game Designer in developing an application for the iPhone that would bring its users closer together—literally! Users play against each other on a single iPhone. I created the look and feel of the game using the iPhone Software Development Kit.
