At BlueMetal I have been focusing on creating Angular applications and the .Net platform.

Working mostly in TypeScript and C#, I write code with other people in mind. I want my code to be straight forward and extendable. Working closely with others, I try to ask as many questions and learn as many techniques as I can.

After graduating from Dev BootCamp, I was hired on as a teaching assistant. This position gives me a great opportunity to both help others and to refine and polish my understandings of both the basics and intricacies of web development.

At Dev BootCamp I focused on adhering best coding practices keeping in mind the SOLID principles and OOP. Here I learned and coded in the Rails stack creating APIs and then used templating frameworks like Handlebars and Angular to display the information.

Getting the opportunity to teach myself these concepts/techniques and then go onto teach others has really helped me get a better understanding and deeper appreciation for them.
