I've frequently held roles sharing responsibilities with product managers, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Interests also include #TechForGood, especially regarding Civic, Health, Climate Tech, and Web3! ## Work Experience ### Tech Lead Manager @ Courier Health Jan 2026 – Present | New York, NY ### Senior Software Engineer @ Courier Health Jan 2025 – Jan 2026 ### Software Engineer @ Courier Health Jan 2023 – Jan 2025 | New York, NY Courier Health is building the future of patient engagement for life sciences companies. Our software is leveraged by biopharma companies to support patients in their complex journey from diagnosis to initiating and remaining on therapy to achieve optimal health outcomes. ### Software Engineer @ Ocrolus Jan 2021 – Jan 2023 | New York, United States Ocrolus is a document automation platform that powers the digital lending ecosystem, automating credit decisions across fintech, mortgage, and banking. Some of my projects include: Tabular Data Model and Tabular Data Flow (Java, Python, SQLAlchemy ORM, Postgres) - Co-formed a 5 person cross-functional team with the mission of creating a new data model, service, and workflow that would allow for the decrease in TAT, handling of tabular data, deprecation of tech debt, and cannibalization of existing workflows - Used Kubernetes to create, maintain and troubleshoot network issues regarding our new and existing services Automation (Java, Python, Kafka, AWS Simple Queue Service, AWS Textract) - Automated the process of identifying and populating data extracted from documents, decreasing the average time spent on a document by 50%. Created a roadmap for feature improvement and full automation, upon handoff of the project. - Took ownership and improved legacy Form Parser Gateway (unified the output of various internal and external OCR parsers). Added parallelization, heuristics, muli-parser capabilities, standardized API contracts, and enabled tabular data handling Validations (Python, TypeScript) - Created a dynamic, REST-ful, and templatized system to validate the data we collect from documents. Backward compatible with legacy services. Allowed QA of automated and human tasks, informed heuristics to improve and speed up doc processing Modification Logs (Python, Kafka, Snowflake) - Created a generic and encapsulated logging system to track all steps in the identifying, capturing, and updating of data in the Tabular Data Workflow - Worked with multiple departments to understand use cases and data requirements to build a single log table to capture all human and computer change-related data in our workflow Worked closely with product to lead Agile ceremonies (scrum, backlog refinement, sprint planning) ### Backend Engineer (Data) @ Biome Analytics Jan 2020 – Jan 2021 | New York, New York, United States Building Python ETL Pipelines and Predictive Models to help hospitals improve patient performance and lower costs. I worked closely with the product team and our clients to understand our business needs to coordinate my team's work to align with their goals. Clinical Data Pipelines ◆ Worked with our CTO to redesign our existing ETL and coordinate updates to our clinical data registries to allow for faster data processing and product deployments. ◆ Manage a team of engineers to execute the implementation of this new system design, as well as build new ETL pipelines and expand our existing microservice and API offering. ◆ Coordinate with clients and the product team to develop clinical measures and dashboards to best leverage our data for business intelligence. Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) Analysis (Python, Sklearn, Statsmodel, Jupyter Notebook) ◆ Worked directly with clients (Doctors and Statisticians) to analyze 8 years of TAVR data to better understand and improve hospital performance. Collaborated on a retroactive study (paper in progress) to determine major drivers in cost and specific patient outcomes (length of stay, adverse events, etc). ◆ Built a Random Forest Classifier to predict patient outcomes. Using a sample of ~9000 records spanning four years and multiple hospital systems, the model was able to predict patient outcomes with 84% accuracy using a 4-tier classification designed by TAVR experts. ### Senior Software Engineer @ FactSet Jan 2020 – Jan 2020 | Greater New York City Area Self Service • Formed a new team to build apis, microservices and tools for internal and external data providers, allowing them to gain insights into the existing FactSet DataFeeds, as well as to test the compatibility of their own data before integrating it into the Open FactSet Marketplace. • We use Python Flask, Vue.js, Typescript, Postgres, ElasticSearch and Agile Development Data Feed Intake Pipeline • Working on a small team building and enhancing the ETL system that supports the data feeds behind the Open FactSet Marketplace. • Built using Python, Perl and SQL Vendor Integration Tools Suite • Leading role in designing and building a suite of online tools to automate and speed up the process of integrating and testing new data feeds into the Open FactSet Marketplace. • Tools are designed based on meetings with and feedback from product specialists. • Built with a Vue.js frontend, Python Flask backend, SQL database and Heroku. ### Software Engineer III @ FactSet Jan 2019 – Jan 2020 | New York, New York, United States ### Software Engineer II @ FactSet Jan 2019 – Jan 2019 | New York, New York, United States ### Software Engineer I @ FactSet Jan 2018 – Jan 2019 | New York, New York, United States ### Software Engineering Intern @ FactSet Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 | Greater New York City Area Built an internal tool to monitor the quality of news data as it is collected from vendors and processed by internal services.
