We were able to release a React Native application to Play and Apple store, named EcoCred in around a month and a half.

Worked on SAAS platform as the first full-time engineer, responsible for helping define and implement requirements, mentor engineering hires, work with remote engineers, as well as normal startup duties. Maintained a whatever-it-takes attitude to meeting deadlines with minimal engineering support. Helped the company through 2 rounds of funding and left the company at 25 employees, where they now sit at 130 including brokers.

Was brought onboard KBS alongside 5 other individuals to help tech enable a stagnant business. We were able to implement some extremely progressive technology solutions which aided in field staff improvements which ultimately led to a significantly large exit (400MM+) from equity partners.

Some of the work highlights include:

● Designed, architechted & implemented core functionality with requirements defined by CIO and Director of Technology
● Company was later acquired for a few hundred million Helped develop the REST API with beautifully abstracted base controllers and presenter layer
● Implemented React upon initial release and related libraries for complex front-end user interface components (audits, customer service cases, employee confirmation, termination, staff, locations)
● Onboarding application with patented I9 verification integration (Rails engine)
● Implemented existing audit form builder with open source libraries saving over 500K a year in licensing fees

Started my engineering journey at ZURB and was lucky enough to be exposed to a number of difficult engineering problems as well as report to and work alongside some of the brightest individuals I’ve worked with in the industry.

My time at ZURB wasn’t as long as one would hope, but one of the standouts of my engineering career as it was the jumping off spot and working in such a fast paced environment with such sharp people really opened my eyes to what is possible in an organization.
