In addition to consulting regarding software patents, I'm returning to software engineering.  In about 2000, I migrated my law practice from Windows to Linux and opened myself to a whole new world of development tools.  

Over the past 18 years, I've developed numerous tools all over the stack in about 7-8 different languages.  When asked what language I code in, I don't know what to say.  I taught myself Java in a day.  I taught myself Python by completing an online course in less than 3 hours of work (excluding the videos I had to watch).  If you want me to code in a language I don't know, give me a day or 2.  If you want me to be proficient in the language, give me a week or 2.
