Engaged in research and development activities with the U.S Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) to support presidential executive orders in cybersecurity. Led the effort to design and develop a filtering system for data scraped from the web. Tools included GitHub, MySQL, and Java development using IntelliJ. Conducted formal code reviews in GitHub. Agile work was managed with Trello and GitHub Projects in 2-week sprints. Used Slack to coordinate development, project updates, and overall communication across the project team.

Spent six months on an Agile CMMI 3.0 rated program, the AN/TPQ-53 Battlefield Surveillance Radar. Worked in all phases of development: Design, Development, Test. Tools included Gitlab, C++, and Java development using Visual Studio Code and Eclipse. Conducted formal code reviews in GitLab, Crucible, and SmartBear Collaborator. Development was done in a RedHat 7 environment. Agile work was managed in JIRA on 3-week sprints. Integration and validation testing was performed on lab assets approximating tactical assets.
