• Audited the Express V2 to V4 update, pushed fixes for core functionality bugs introduced from the update.

• Refactored codebase to use modern JavaScript features, improving code readability.

• Created documentation for new contributing developers for local setup, preventing common confusion on start-up.

• Added functionality to retrieve JSON data by using “Accept” headers, to be in line with HTTP headers convention.

• Removed Ruby dependencies, and translated code to use the node.js ecosystem

LiveStack is built on React, Node, Express, PostgreSQL. Livestack allows for people who normally teach in person to be able to sustain their course of work by opening their doors to online streaming.

• Built homepage with React.js to show all events and the ability to filter based on category, as well as a featured event.

• Connected the content creator's Dashboard with express.js, PostgreSQL, so that the creator's events populate. Worked with promises to minimize load time with asynchronous calls.

• Conducted research on external APIs like Stripe. Built a proof-of-concept and presented to the rest of my team, on a high-level, how stripe worked and how it could be implemented into our site.
