I pour myself into my work especially when I am faced with a difficult challenge or when I am learning something new. I own my projects from start to finish, and I'd be happy to bring my passion to you.
Originally I was building a mobile application, and after finishing it I was asked to also build an admin web UI so that the client can moderate and manage the mobile application. I was also tasked with integrating new interns into the project. Overall it was a great experience where I learned a myriad of new technologies.
•
Utilized React, Firebase, and Google Analytics to construct a CMS providing comprehensive usage metrics, user management, and automated chat moderation in a user-friendly way.
•
Self-started to completion a secure firebase API that interfaces with both third-party APIs and the app itself.
•
Worked with back end engineer to develop non-relational database schemas in order to provide an efficient framework to store and access large amounts of data.
•
Lead Jr. developers to learn the ins and outs of web application development, contribute on a real-world project, and provide insight on technical choices.
At this internship I worked on creating a case management system for use in local hospitals. I and one other intern used React, GraphQL, and redux to deliver an efficient product that saves hospitals thousands in hospice fees.
•
Implemented Redux with React to construct a rich and dynamic case management system, using Redux’s predictable state container and React’s reusable components to slash case processing performance by 50%.
•
Built API using Express and GraphQL to distribute cases and users, utilizing GraphQL’s typed schema and optimized queries to efficiently propagate data to the front end and maintain HIPAA compliance.
•
Discussed project viability, mock ups, and time estimates with clients.
