The team uses SAFE (Scaled Agile Framework) running 2-week sprints inside a quarterly PI (Program Increment) with a product owner and designer.

The client-facing software called Command Center (https://www.emeraldcloudlab.com/how-it-works) is used by scientists to write Mathematica code in a virtual notebook. I helped write the surrounding JavaScript implementation using React/Redux/Webpack/Storybook/Sass/NW.js/chromium, always switching to the latest and greatest tools. The lab-facing software runs the experiments. These are desktop apps that are written in JavaScript wrapped in NW.js.
