Working on SAP HANA Graph

Development of a compression technique for webgraphs. The goal is to compress giant webgraphs (multiple Terrabytes) efficiently in order to allow for fast in-memory processing of the graph. The project is part of the SAP HANA Graph Database extension.

Development of a smartphone tracking application for sail races. The applications empowers sailors to create sailing regattas as well as to participate in sailing regattas using their smartphone. The position data of the sailors is transmitted during the race to the SAP Sailing Analytics backend, which can be used for live and retrospective analysis of the sail race.
