RARE AS ONE, March 2020–April 2021

Works with team to understand patient organization needs and challenges, communicate findings, and explore solutions. Collaborates with team to participate in UXR studies and help synthesize findings, and visualize data and concepts through sketching and diagramming to highlight processes, relationships, and opportunities.

IDSEQ PROJECT, July 2019–April 2020

Collaborates with team to improve product consistency between design and engineering by developing a comprehensive design system and implement updates within product. Designed and built user-resource tools including a customized Zendesk help center and user-engagement tool within the product. Provides product design support through concept exploration, sketching user workflows, and user interface refinements/additions.

HUMAN CELL ATLAS PORTAL, Jan. 2019–Aug.2019

Collaborated with UX researcher, copywriter, scientists, and developers to meet the Human Cell Atlas Portal website’s visual design needs. Work included UX and accessibility audit of the existing website, homepage redesign, process diagram and illustration designs to support documentation, and collaboration with developers to implement.

Worked with multidisciplinary mechanical engineering and design consultancy to produce designs for a variety of consumer and healthcare clients. Work included UX/UI design, design systems, brand design, packaging design, and marketing. Responsibilities included project management, collaboration with clients and internal teams (industrial design, UX research, visual design, and marketing), and production for hand-off to developers.
