# Janki Patel > Software Engineer @ Good Dog Location: New York, New York, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/janki I graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in May 2018. I studied Computer Science with a focus on People and Media. I am a Vermonter, so naturally I love hiking and maple syrup. I enjoy watching The Office, finding new coffee shops in NYC, and spending time with my family and friends. I started full-time as a Software Engineer at JP Morgan in July 2018 on a team in the Wealth and Asset Management line of business doing full-stack development with a front-end in React/Typescript and back-end in Java. In November 2020 I joined Quio Technologies as a Frontend Engineer. Since then, I have been working on remote patient monitoring platforms primarily using React/Redux and Typescript. My passion for front-end development, user interface design, and working with my team to build creative solutions is growing everyday. I love learning and actively expanding my skill set. I am grateful for the amazing opportunities that have come my way thus far and am excited to see what the future has in store. ## Work Experience ### Software Engineer @ Good Dog Jan 2021 – Present | New York, New York, United States ### Frontend Engineer @ Quio Jan 2020 – Jan 2021 | Manhattan, New York, United States ### Software Engineer @ JPMorgan Chase & Co. Jan 2018 – Jan 2020 ### Technology Analyst Intern @ JPMorgan Chase & Co. Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 | Greater New York City Area At this internship I got to collaborate and work closely with international team members almost daily. I developed a full-stack web app using Spring Boot and JP Morgan's internal Moneta framework for clients to view some of their financial information from inputted search criteria. I also built an app for senior management to make functionality requests for an existing app. I created and pushed a UI app to cloud to update senior management on my team’s projects in Wealth and Asset Management. These applications used HTML, CSS (Bootstrap), and AngularJS for front-end and Java for back-end. ### Biotechnology Seminar Participant @ Norwich University Jan 2013 – Jan 2013 | Northfield, Vermont I used and developed my skills in the field of biotechnology through research with professors. I tested whether or not the labels of several medications were accurate by performing a variety of tests on each drug. I collected specimen from a nearby river and decomposed them to analyze their DNA. Through centrifuging, gel electrophoresis, and matching DNA with previously discovered species using the BLAST computer program, I determined whether or not the species in the river were invasive. ## Education ### Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Georgia Institute of Technology Jan 2014 – Jan 2018 ### Spaulding High School Jan 2010 – Jan 2014 ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/jankiipatel --- Source: https://flows.cv/janki JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/janki/resume.json Last updated: 2026-03-23
