I work on the Platform team, doing full-stack development to unify AngelList’s suite of products, improve developer efficiency, and enhance the user experience. My work includes:
Global navigation – Developed a reusable navigation system that connects multiple products, displaying accessible dashboards across disparate codebases
Notifications system – Built a centralized service for managing user action items across the platform, surfacing them in the global navigation
Design system – Maintain and expand the React component library, ensuring consistency with Figma designs and supporting product team requests
Investor permissions overhaul – Migrated existing permissions from SpiceDB to a custom ReBAC system, simplifying and expanding admin-controlled permissions
Technical infrastructure – Upgraded GraphQL and Next.js in a legacy monolith, introduced a test harness for new products, and contribute to on-call rotations to resolve platform issues

I worked on the Special Projects team, bringing new business initiatives from concept to production. My focus was mostly on the frontend, with occasional backend API contributions as needed. Key contributions:
Admin tool development – Developed an internal tool for vehicle quality and safety reviews
Performance optimization – Implemented incremental static regeneration using NextJS, reducing vehicle detail page load time by 10x
