Responsible for Rivian’s commercial portfolio (hardware + software). Supported various product teams including, in-vehicle infotainment, Fleet OS, RivianOS, Rivian Energy Cloud, and the RDV vehicle line.
• Led 'Jobs to be done’ framework across the commercial organization to better understand and communicate fleet operations and user needs to siloed product teams. Resulted in a once-a-month product meeting to review key user journeys that touch on or navigate through multiple team’s product areas.
• Leveraged ‘self-documentation’ to gather contextual data across the US while complying with covid restrictions, resulted in 100% participation from all partners requested to participate.
• Built in-application user feedback components enabling direct collection of user feedback (including both qual and quant data) during a period of limited user access for more traditional research methodologies.
• Managed user research intern, mentored junior researchers, implemented a research / knowledge repository, and built research roadmaps.
• Developed research request intake process and alignment pipeline. Process eliminated ~3 hours per week of alignment meetings for each researcher (12 team hours). Built multiple confluence templates to standardize product knowledge and research project organization. Templates leveraged by larger research organization and commercial design team ~ 35 design and researchers.
