During my summer internship at Markforged, I improved the quality of 3D printed parts by adjusting the motion of the 3D printer to remove unwanted surface marks on all final pieces. I made numerous quality of life improvements to the user experience on the Markforged site by adding shared projects and Imperial unit support, and refactored the print time estimation software increasing accuracy of the predicted print time for all parts by up to 20%
