As a lead developer at the DALI lab, I am responsible for managing project teams, developing overarching lab policies and hiring, and mentoring students. I have helped grow the lab from 30 to over 70 people. I also have worked on several projects of my own, based mainly in node.js, including The Body Politic, Mapping the Collective Impact of Service (https://dali-lab.github.io/mapping-service), and Orchard (https://www.orderorchard.com).

The Neukom DALI Lab is a research and development lab in the Computer Science Department at Dartmouth College. We combine the latest design and technology practices to help our partners communicate their ideas to maximize impact. I worked as an iOS engineer on the Messaging team, primarily working in Swift. I helped add GIF support to iOS, empowering users to increase interactions between members of their network. I also introduced a revamped photo picker into Messaging, allowing users to more seamlessly integrate rich media into their messages.

I worked as a full stack engineer on the Growth Engineering team. Technologies I worked with include Django, Python, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Backbone.js. I built a recommendation system using large scale data mining for shopping carts with a increase of overall gross revenue by 2%. I also designed the data infrastructure and architecture to automatically detect fraud and reduce the number of credit card disputes, saving tens of thousands of dollars per month
