Delivered content for websites, emails/notifications, and online documents via content outlines, audits, and inventories in close partnership with UI/UX Designers.
• Supported the redesign of the main customer facing digital tool, Equinix Customer Portal. Every pixel and sentence were revisited and changed during this time.
• Created standardized templates/samples that could be applied to new and existing content of same type.
• Increased the language support of our digital products from six languages to 17 languages, by providing the business cases needed in order to expand and add the additional languages.
• Rebuilt the translation process with a new translation platform (Smartling), reducing cost by 52% and increasing delivery speed by 63%.
• Created and managed a globally distributed localization review team of internal subject matter experts in order to increase the quality of translations by 35%.
• Developed a new user support strategy by transitioning away from a ‘user guide’ PDF and developing ‘help articles’ that would then be searchable and available to users in the UI. This required new UI/UX and a new back-end infrastructure to be developed.
