Design systems • Established a new icon system to harmonize the diverging evolution of Stripe’s brand and product design, along with contribution guidelines enabling designers to easily create new icons and quickly expand the system to support emerging products. • Led the Design Systems advocacy program to conduct internal user research uncovering the unmet needs of designers and developers, which further informed the Design Systems roadmap planning and prioritization. • Collaborated with the Docs team to establish a new diagram system to empower all product teams effortlessly generate consistent diagrams to illustrate technical concepts for merchants and developers. Stripe Apps • Created the Apps UI toolkit as a building block for external designers and developers to plan and build apps. • Provided app examples, recommended patterns, and design guidelines to ensure all the apps meet Stripe Apps’ review requirements and are consistent with the look and feel of Stripe’s Dashboard. • Partnered with PM and EM to create the regular team/project process to facilitate the growth of the new UI extensions team.
