Lead in the electronics design of the Stratos IV rocket. A student-built rocket, capable of reaching space.
• Real-Time Systems: Developed and optimized embedded C code for ARM based real-time control systems within the rocket's avionics. Enabling precise sensor data acquisition and paracute recovery capabilities.
• Testing: Build and ran a comprehensive hardware and software in-the-loop testing setup to verify the functionality and reliability of the complete rocket avionics systems, ensuring mission readiness.
• PCB design: Designed, developed and implemented embedded electronic systems for rocket and ground infrastructure, contributing to successful launch campaigns.
• Project management: Provided technical leadership to an 8 person team, leading planning and scheduling efforts and overseeing the assembly and integration of electronic systems.
• Collaboration: Worked with various teams, including propulsion, ground systems, and structures, to define electronic design criteria, interface specifications and system capabilities.
