Hi, my name is Javen Nakamoto and I'm a Software Engineer. My main focus is to create unique user interfaces and experiences. - Led a team of 3 to redesign and revamp our internal automation team site from scratch using Next.js and tailwindcss.
- Collaborated closely with designers to construct accessible components, pages, colors, and user experiences.

October 2020 - January 2021
- Implemented automation smoke tests using Testcafe and Browserstack for both desktop and mobile sizes of Nike.com’s cart and checkout page.

March 2020 - October 2020
- Wrote tests using WeChat's JavaScript automation testing framework, mini-program, for the Nike WeChat application used in Greater China.
- Ran automation builds with Jenkins to improve the stability of our tests.
- Collaborated with Nike's Greater China engineer team to help improve and strengthen our automation test suites.
- Created JIRA tickets to help organize our team's goals for the upcoming sprints.

- Refactored team automation site using Gatsby (React and GraphQL) and Material UI.
- Raised test coverage for our React components using react-testing-library/Jest.
- Integrated a Lerna mono-repository with Yarn packages to migrate our original team automation site and custom reusable React UI components.
