Working closely with system framework and 3D rendering engineers, I helped stand up a system of automated testing for complex applications, services, and libraries on Oculus Quest devices that increased their stability and reliability.
• Introduced automated instrumentation testing to a VR virtual presence platform on Oculus Quest devices.
• Engineered workflows for running instrumented tests in continuous integration on both C++ and Kotlin/Java framework components.
• Improved performance and reliability of testbed applications via coroutines in Kotlin and C++.
• Designed testbed application UX to match developer user specifications.
• Automated end to end testing of VR apps using Jetpack Compose UI interaction and device state for validation.
• Helped increase organization-wide unit test code coverage by an order of magnitude.
