I focus on taking complex systems from early concept through production and long-term operation, working at the intersection of distributed systems, data governance, and applied AI, with a strong emphasis on reliability, security, and real-world impact.

• Data & Analytics Platforms
Designing and operating large-scale, self-service analytics platforms for federated SQL analytics and Spark ETL, enabling engineers and analysts to explore operational data securely and efficiently.
• Metadata, Governance & Data Discovery
Leading the design and adoption of enterprise metadata and governance capabilities (e.g., metastore- and catalog-driven systems) to improve data discovery, ownership, lineage, and access control across the data ecosystem.
• Applied AI for Operations
Applying AI techniques (including LLM-based and agent-style approaches) to automate signal analysis and incident triage, with a focus on explainability, reliability, and seamless integration into existing operational workflows.
