Hardware Onboarding UX

Hardware Design
• Shipped and lead Mechanical Engineer for: Vehicle Gateway (VG54), Environmental Monitor (EM31), Cargo Monitor (CRGO), Port Expander, Panic Button, 15+ diagnostics cables
• Responsible for Hardware UX/Design from conception through mass production, including: device architecture, competitor analysis, industrial design, rapid prototyping, DFM, reliability testing, cable design, install guides, and packaging
• Optimized product architecture, BOM costs, and assembly time through overseas vendor management and cross-functional collaboration with Product Management, Supply Chain, Firmware and Electrical teams
• Invented modular cable connector for heavy-duty vehicle cable, consolidating 4 product SKUs to decrease customer exchanges
• Invented device with external rotating connector interface (Patent 11,974,410)
