# Jennifer Spriggs > Staff Product Designer Location: Seattle, Washington, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/jenniferspriggs When I designed apparel for major fashion brands, I thought I understood how design could touch people's lives — until I started designing software that people interact with millions of times a day. I've found the ways technology should be designed to make it as familiar and functional as a jean pocket, while still beautiful. I love to work on projects that blend form, function, and craft — sweating the details, the stitches that hold experiences together even when no one sees them. Currently Staff Product Designer at CNN, where I create experiences for the real-time publishing system supporting 1.7M concurrent users and architected design systems driving 20x adoption growth. Previously at Dropbox, Google, and Replit, I've built platforms reaching 700M+ MAUs and saved companies millions through strategic design decisions. When I'm not designing digital experiences, I'm dreaming about my backup career as a sloth caretaker in Costa Rica. ## Work Experience ### Staff Product Designer — Platforms + Design Systems @ CNN Jan 2025 – Present | Seattle, Washington, United States Redesigning how journalists tell stories, making content creation feel natural again. Our goal was to drive product innovation and growth in new global markets for the world's largest beauty, baby, and menstrual brands for Procter and Gamble. Proving that sometimes the smallest efforts make the biggest impact — I quickly sketched a leaf pattern that found its way onto billions of packages of Always pads, a design that won out over 8 other concepts. I developed a new way of draping pattern to innovate on a decades old product — the adult diaper. I participated in the planning and facilitation of two participatory design workshops that led to the creation of new pad concepts and patentable IP as well as new diaper concepts for the business in China. ## Education ### Master's degree in Human Centered Design & Engineering University of Washington Human Centered Design & Engineering ### Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Design University of Cincinnati ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/jenniferlspriggs - Portfolio: https://www.jenniferlspriggs.com --- Source: https://flows.cv/jenniferspriggs JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/jenniferspriggs/resume.json Last updated: 2026-03-30
