I’ve worked on our regulatory, liquidity, orchestration, and storage systems. ### Advisor @ Halo Jan 2017 – Present | San Francisco Bay Area Halo makes it possible to donate directly to research and help advance the most promising discoveries of today into the treatments of tomorrow. Each month, we feature a research project targeting a condition and vetted by experts that needs additional funding to advance further and help patients. I work with the CEO on engineering and product. ### Engineering Manager, Interview Team @ Triplebyte Jan 2018 – Jan 2018 | San Francisco, California Triplebyte evaluates the technical skills of engineers and uses the data to match them with companies. Most interview processes have a high amount of noise and most hiring decisions are still made using amorphous terms like "gut feel". Triplebyte solves this by using data collected from the hiring process at hundreds of companies. Our mission is creating a scientific method for identifying great talent and intelligently routing it to the best place. I lead the interview team. I manage the team of 30 engineers who conduct our interview. I also write software to scale and improve our process. * My tenure was short because I soon realized the role wasn't a good fit for what I wanted to do. Forager, a Facebook Messenger bot that finds fashion items on sale, in your size, from your favorites brands. ### Co-founder & CTO @ Locality, Inc. Jan 2011 – Jan 2016 | Greater New York City Area Locality helps local consumers find and compare local services based on price, opening hours, and ratings and reviews. We pioneered an innovative data collection system that aggregates comprehensive, accurate local business information from both online and offline sources. Over 90% of our local business pricing data is not available anywhere else online and our service is used by 2M+ consumers monthly. We are backed by Matrix Partners, Lightbank, Cowboy Ventures, ff Venture Capital, Founder Collective and others. Locality also launched MassageNow, an app to book same-day, discounted spa appointments. MassageNow was acquired by Zeel in 2016. I built the product and infrastructure. I built multiple iterations of the product, recruited developers and managed offshore development. ### Director of Engineering @ MedExpert Jan 2004 – Jan 2005 MedExpert provides a medical decision support service that improves health outcomes and reduces costs through the delivery of relevant medical information. As head of engineering, led development of a patient management application, enabling MedExpert to scale the service, increasing the number of patients managed by 500% and doubling the client base. ### Software Engineer @ MedExpert International, Inc. Jan 2003 – Jan 2004 MedExpert provides a medical decision support service that improves health outcomes and reduces costs through the delivery of relevant medical information. Developed a method to connect how a drug works with what a drug treats, enabling members of the service to identify alternative drugs, resulting in average monthly savings of 50%. ### Software Engineer @ Profluent Inc.
