I am a full-stack software engineer, comfortable building everything from web servers to GUI applications to command-line tools. I have experience with Java, Python, Clojure, JavaScript, SQL, Typescript, Elm, Common Lisp, Scheme, and Rust. I also have limited experience with C/C++, Go, Ruby, and C#.

I am experienced in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale distributed systems using industry-standard technologies like Hadoop, Kafka, and HBase. I'm also very comfortable with front-end web technologies from HTML and CSS to MV* JavaScript frameworks like React and Vue.  I'm a quick and motivated study, and I love expanding my programming knowledge.

In my spare time, I play piano and saxophone, read fiction, and work on whatever personal project I have going on at the time.
