Led and helped build the FlashArray security team, growing it from just a couple of members to four teams. These teams cover everything from feature development to product security, consulting across the entire organization.

Started within the team that built the integrations with financial partners to process credit card transactions, and help scale it to handle our growth. Later I switched to the Terminal team to help merge the card present solution from Index with Stripe, and extended the embedded application running on the Verifone readers.

I've worked on a range of features of this database, including the artificial tables, high availability using Raft, and the query protocol. Most of my efforts during the last year were spent on security, a new authentication protocol, user accounts, and a permission system for those users.

As part of the NDS transpiler team, I've worked on their main product which converts navigation data from an internal format to the Navigation Data Standard. Further along, I joined a small team tasked with the cleanup and refactoring of the transpiler its design.

Together with the Ciere team, I jumped in at companies to rescue doomed projects from the abyss. The companies and projects varied from the medical to service industry but mainly tested my C++, Python, and communication skills to produce a complete solution for the problems at hand.
