C++ working group - R&D, interoperability of programming languages (C++ and Python) using pyBind11 and NanoBind

During my national service program at mPharma, I worked as a software engineer. My responsibilities included working with the Medical Counter Assistant (MCA) and Inventory teams to fix production bugs that persisted on the Bloom software, and to improve inventory management in the mPharma facility network.

I also focused on accurately tracking facility managers' actions concerning stock uploads and inventory management to improve monitoring and visibility for inventory audits across all facilities in the mPharma network. To accomplish these tasks, I used the Python programming language, including the Django REST framework for API development and Tornado for asynchronous network routing.

Additionally, I utilized PostgreSQL and algorithmic design to optimize existing code during refactoring and to prioritize efficiency when making new implementations.

• Designed and built a referral and commission reward engine to generate unique referral codes for users which can help them earn a passive income by actively recommending the product to their friends and family. This was built using the Flask web framework with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy and Flask Restful.

• Built the boilerplate system for integrating different services and 3rd party API providers using the Strategy Design Pattern to help make the company’s expansion across other African countries seamless.

• Built the automated testing and Unit tests suite for the backend codebase and API endpoints using Postman(Chai js style) and Pytest.

• Collaborated with a backend engineering team of 2 to design the system and API structure for an all-new marketplace feature and built the CRUD API endpoints for creating and tagging shops, products and merchants for the marketplace.

Performed Data Annotation and processing, contributing to the creation of a Cocoa and Maize crop [healthy and diseased] machine learning dataset, featured in Harvard dataverse.

• Performs analysis of user financial data and implement loan eligibility algorithms using Pandas and Numpy.

• Developed a data access tool to simplify access to users' financial data using the Flask web framework.

• Collaborates with a team of engineers and a product designer to develop the company's MVP using ReactJS and implemented in-app analytics to monitor user behaviour using Google analytics.
