Lead programmer on the Pleiades-Orpheus student-led 1U satellite mission; launched December 2024.
Led team of 5 to develop resilient satellite communication system in CircuitPython, incorporating packetization, handshakes, retry requests, and error correction. Reliably linked satellite in orbit to ground station, mitigating packet loss and enabling rapid deployment of new features.
Developed custom serial console that streamlined development process by automating file syncing between computers and microcontrollers; reduced time between iterations by ~50% and data collection time by ~95%.
