With nearly 20 years of experience in retail store design, Jesse Moyer is an award winning retail designer, and currently the Director of Global Store Design at Levi Strauss & Co., based in San Francisco. He leads the Global Store Design team, overseeing the design of flagship, retail, wholesale, and outlet environments, with a focus on integrating consumer experience and technology into cohesive brand environments. His leadership includes designing Levi’s® flagship stores worldwide, including locations in New York, Paris, and Mumbai. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Ohio State University. Jesse also currently serves as President of the Northern California Chapter of the Retail Design Institute.

Prior to Levi’s®, Jesse was Senior Manager of Global Store Design at Old Navy, where he managed global design standards and led flagship and outlet projects. He began his career at WD Partners, gaining foundational experience in project documentation and coordination, before refining his design skills at Victoria’s Secret, where he developed expertise across all aspects of retail design. Jesse was recognized as a 40 Under 40 by design:retail magazine in 2015.

Provide detailed design support and deliver key moments in flagship, junior flagship and other high profile or unique Old Navy locations. 
Manage high profile project budgets and track costs of owner supplied materials. Identify cost-saving opportunities as needed to maintain budgets.
Direct photo shoots for high profile and brand defining stores after store open.
Develop and maintain the Old Navy Design Guidelines for use by implementation team.
Liaise between prototype/development team and implementation team.
Coordinate and execute mockups/prototypes with vendors for key store elements or moments.
Generate 3D models of stores as needed (including storefront and key fixtures) to ensure design decisions are sound. 
Partner with Real Estate and Finance as needed to complete high-level gut checks and/or feasibility studies on prospective new spaces.
Partner with Procurement and Finance to manage inventory of fixtures and devise strategy on using excess inventory. Recommend vendor selection for key store elements.
Implemented and executed the Old Navy Outlet concept in the first test store in 2012. 
Redesigned the Old Navy cashwrap fixture for rollout in all 2013 stores.
Executed Master Service Agreement with new floor vendor for diamond polished concrete floors.
Design lead for select special projects including storefront remodels and back-of-house updates based on one-off requests from the landlord or Store Operations.
Designer for several standard rollout stores in the US and Canada including Old Navy Outlet.
Designed value-engineered remodel scope storefront reusing existing windows, mullions, entry grille, and canopy while recladding all QuarryCast piers with Alucobond.

Design lead for the Victoria's Secret Market Initiative program, responsible for store repositioning and remodeling/refreshing stores in high-profile centers in 5 US markets far (Detroit, Chicago, Dallas, Houston and Miami).
Design lead for VSX (Victoria's Secret Sport) rebranding project at our lab store; Created concept design which related the VSX brand back to Victoria's Secret, but giving it a fresh, feminine, sporty, and clean look. 
Created the 2010 Victoria's Secret Storefront Design Manual.

Project manager for Victoria’s Secret Very Sexy Launch program. Created 2-page construction document packet for installation of wall standards and glass shelving in 26 stores.
Managed work intake from client and maintained excellent client relationship.
Drafted design development and construction document sets and worked closely with client to ensure accuracy of scope for several projects.
Created Victoria’s Secret PINK permit status tracking spreadsheet to manage permit process.
Drafted elements of production drawings in the retail studio using CAD software and based on prototype files or verbal/written input from Project Lead or client.

Designer for Victoria’s Secret stores, laying out schematic designs independently.
