We work as dedicated volunteers for the mission to champion design for all by ideating events, organizations or people that may best serve our community while also giving a platform to unheard voices. We program workshops, panels and mixers to connect NYC designers.

I have helped organize an event with Microsoft Leadership and AI, a workshop with illustrator Hyesu Lee, and created assets for an range of AI events.

ThriveDX is an ed tech company offering accelerated learning for B2B and B2C markets, shifting its focus solely on cybersecurity after offering data science, UI/UX, marketing and software engineering earlier. They have been mentioned by the White House, have partnerships with BlackGirlsHack and OneTen. They were also recognized for Course Report’s 2024 one of the top Cybersecurity Bootcamp of the Year.

• Worked alongside another designer/developer, coordinated with a team abroad of 8.

• Utilized heuristic analysis, web analytics, content audits, site maps, competitive analysis, stakeholder interviews, and roadmaps to align the global B2B and B2C markets, achieve buy-in with executive leadership and facilitate cross-team collaboration to optimize the company website experience.

• Maintained and updated internal asset management system. Worked with developer to redesign the experience, assisting with build alongside a developer using WordPress and Divi.

• Piloted a design system as a proof of concept to share with 8 designers on the B2C team. The team adapted a version for themselves (of which I did not lead), and were able to cut their time to deliver by more than 75%.

• Managed a team of 3. They assisted and led projects like improving the experience of an internal scheduling tool for instructors, sharing design iterations for a next-gen learning platform, and working on iterations for a design system.

• Developed a design system for curriculum writers and engineers. I worked with them side by side to not only iterate the design system but coach them on the basics of design as they did not have a dedicated resource.

• Led the creative concept development for a next-gen learning product that involved a chat bot, AI and an video class room tool. My goal was to create a seamless experience, understand the development constraints and create low to high fidelity prototypes to build on our concept.

• Co-led research, design and implementation of UI/UX program. Conducted user journeys, created proto-personas, a student journey map, instructor journey map and a service delivery journey map to ensure the entire journey would be seamless for internal teams promoting the work all the way to instructors and students. We prioritized access to design education for all.

• Distributed to 40+ cohorts across 8 universities nationwide with an 85% pass rate and average 9/10 rating by instructors for content and delivery.

• Introduced piloting a course to iterate instead of an overhaul. Utilized qualitative and quantitative data to validate our pilot. Other teams were so drawn to our growth and speed of intentional change, we coached and facilitated workshops on how they can improve their experience.

• Mentored and managed a team of 5 other designers

• Conducted lectures, revitalized dated content and developed programming

on design topics for a 25 student cohort, graduating 60 students with 97%

retention rate and 9.5 NPS score.

• Led as design director on projects with real client work. This aided in several

learners being hired to continue freelancing with clients after graduation.

DramaFever was a SVOD video streaming service for iOS, Android, Roku and web that scaled to 15 designers before acquisition. DramaFever served 20 countries globally, Shudder with now 2.8 million subscribers. I was hire number 2 for the product design team.

• Co-led design vision, strategy and implementation of AMC’s streaming channel Shudder across multiple platforms and devices. Acquired double the subscriber base in half the time (50k subs in 6 months).

• Led strategy and implementation of a design system across 4 platforms and 6 teams for DC Comics DTC streaming service. Boosted team efficiency by 30%, error in development reduced by 65% and time to market was up by 30%.

• Revitalized sign up experience, OTT experience and marketing landing page designs for DramaFever, contributing to an increase in subscriber base by 200% over 2 years.

• Conceptualized and researched new video player experience during transition to HTML5 video player.

• Co-lead in scaling and mentoring design team by fostering development through 1:1’s and coaching on gaps in skills while nurturing strengths.

Led research and design for AMC partnership channel Shudder, doubling subscribers in half the projected time. Optimized sign-up and in-app purchase experience on Roku and account information dashboard for DramaFever and led internal research and design of the video player, a key component for our product. Also focused on hiring and on-boarding designers.

Led projects from concept to completion on luxury clients looking to translate their brand into a digital space, primarily on the web. Developed relationships with clients directly. Guided mid-level designers to produce additional pages and encouraged designers to explore concepts. Also worked as an Art Director for a photo campaign and video campaign for 2 emerging clients and continued product photography art direction for product photography shoots. Conducted a workshop for product photography in Mexico City for one of our clients.

Helped design additional pages from existing work, worked on email newsletters and ads for multiple clients including Derek Lam, BB Dakota, Honora, and Diptyque. Led design and build for Sandro, a European client looking to launch their e-commerce shop in parallel to their US brick and mortar shop. Also led ad campaign for Ashford, a luxury e-commerce site for men and women's watches online.
