Through research & strategy, I’ve guided clients to create breakthrough products, services, and brand experiences to address unmet needs – spanning sectors including consumer (KitchenAid, BIC, Keurig), commercial (S.C. Johnson, Michelin, Clorox), and life sciences (Becton Dickinson, Bristol Myers Squibb).
•Planned & executed global research studies (ethnographic, usability, etc.). Developed protocols, screened & managed recruits, hosted focus groups, organized longitudinal diaries, and conducted in-depth interviews.
•Moderated immersive ethnographic field research to identify user challenges and build client-customer empathy (e.g. joining prosumer chefs in their kitchens and long-haul truckers in their cabs).
•Synthesized qualitative data into impactful insight narratives with compelling visual storytelling and information design.
•Mapped end-to-end customer & product journeys to identify pain points, needs, and opportunities (e.g. maintaining drug integrity from formulation in the pharmacy to administration at the bedside).
•Facilitated hands-on workshops with cross-functional client teams (executives, R&D, marketing, etc.) to ideate concepts, define value propositions, and develop visionary & actionable roadmaps for the short & long term.
•Project leader responsible for client relations, presentations, written deliverables, schedule, scope, budgeting, and mentoring junior team members.
