# Jess Tschirki > Executive Design Leadership | Advisory for Product Innovation, & UX | Founding Designer Salura Health Location: San Francisco, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/jesstschirki I’m a design leader and early-stage builder who likes to make products that help people. For more than 20 years I’ve worked across health, tech, and brand, leading teams through the kind of messy, real problems that don’t have clear parameters or clean edges. I’m at my best when something needs to be rebuilt or rethought, whether that's a feature that isn’t landing, a system that’s gotten too heavy, or a way of working that no longer supports the people doing it. I like digging in, understanding what’s actually going on, and then moving folks toward something clearer and more useful. My focus is always the same, create the conditions for smart decisions, great craft, and a team that can carry the work forward long after the first version ships. Specialties: User Experience, Experience Design, Mobile Apps, Integrated / Campaign Marketing, Brand Marketing, Brand Development, Identity Systems, Environment / Event Design, Creative Direction, Design ## Work Experience ### Founding Designer @ Salura Health Jan 2025 – Present ### VP of Design @ League Inc. Jan 2021 – Jan 2025 | Remote As VP of Design at League, I led a talented and mission-driven team through a period of growth and transition, from a digital health benefits app into a broader health experience platform that could serve payers, providers, and employers. I was responsible for both UX and brand creative, and worked across the company to bring design closer to the center of how we made decisions. Over my time at League, I: • Built and coached a cross-functional design team that included product designers, brand creatives, and researchers • Partnered closely with product, engineering, and growth leads to ship experiences across navigation, claims, benefits, and condition management • Helped shape our design system and operational foundation so we could scale quality and clarity across the platform • Worked to elevate design as a strategic voice, not just a delivery function, sometimes succeeding, sometimes learning the hard way • Pushed for inclusive and human-centered healthcare experiences, especially for people navigating complex or fragmented systems This was a deeply meaningful role for me, challenging, formative, and full of smart people trying to do hard things. I remain proud of the work and grateful for the opportunity to lead through such an ambitious phase of the company’s growth. ### VP, Experience Design @ Rally Health Jan 2019 – Jan 2021 | San Francisco, California Defined brand-forward experience design for web and mobile products targeting wellness engagement and retention.
 • Designed seamless member journeys across digital touchpoints spanning Rally, Optum, and UnitedHealthcare. • Recruited, grew, and led the product design and brand teams across the U.S., scaling the org from 7 to 41 designers.  • Oversaw design across multiple lines of business (navigation, wellness, condition management, care planning). • Partnered cross-functionally to align verticals, foster innovation, and deliver outcomes across cost, care steerage, and engagement. • Co-sponsored the Health Equity Task Force and led efforts on the Rally Design System. Directed a company-wide rebrand and designed multiple office environments. ### Executive Creative Director @ Rally Health Jan 2016 – Jan 2019 Leading visual and experience design for Wellness and Brand. ### Creative Director @ Rally Health Jan 2013 – Jan 2016 | San Francisco Leading visual and experience design. ### Associate Creative Director @ Questus Jan 2011 – Jan 2013 I worked to find new ways of using different types of media to further brand interaction both on and offline using wit, brevity, and cutting edge visuals.
