I am a member of Quantitative Tool Research Team within Aladdin Product Group. The team is responsible for building and maintaining tools and models for quantitative researchers.

I've worked on projects to delivery an abstraction layer that simplify the process of accessing key datasets which requires navigating a complex data environment characterized by multiple disparates datasources, databases and data management systems.

Main components are

1. a search front end interface to allow data locating, view metadata and connect with data experts, downloading undying data etc.

2. a data service and associated APIs that provide consistent interface and streamlined access to the underlying dataset.
