Designed and developed Liquid, LinkedIn’s in-memory graph database, with a focus on the in-memory storage layer.

Developed Ambry, LinkedIn’s geo-distributed blob storage system, providing storage for customers and internal database backups, while improving its scalability and availability.

Worked on the storage layer of Amazon Neptune, a fully managed graph database service that supports both property graphs and RDF graphs, focusing on storage performance, durability, and transaction handling.

Led the team in designing and developing a cloud-distributed file system and a NAS versioning file system. Integrated performance tuning and debugging across cloud and NAS systems.

Designed and developed file synchronization and backup software to sync files between the cloud and local file systems across Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, and iOS platforms.

Worked on multiple storage products, including Solid State Drives (SSD), SATA, and SAS RAID controllers. Managed a team focused on firmware and Windows driver design and development. Contributed to the design and development of wear leveling algorithms and RAID algorithms. Oversaw ASIC validation efforts and addressed various ASIC issues. Was an expert in the eMMC protocol, with familiarity in ONFI/Toggle NAND, SATA, and SAS protocols. Communicated with customers to gather feature requirements and manage firmware releases. Gained extensive hands-on experience across these projects, with a background in Windows driver, firmware, and application development.
