This SCADpro Sponsored Course worked under the guidance of CBS to assist in the research and development of concepts to attract younger viewers to tune-in to CBS to watch television programming when it airs on the network at its scheduled time (i.e., “live” and not streamed or viewed on demand) and increase CBS’ brand linkage through social media campaigns, overall social branding and more relevant/effective design concepts for online banners and assets across multiple platforms and formats.

1. Design System:

• Successfully incorporated a design system for product releases by collaborating with the development team and IDEO.

• Constructed and documented design components in a Figma library to establish an efficient workflow and a unified design language.

2. Design Supports:

• Supported the design deliverables of a current product based on patients' feedback during cycle 2 research.

• Assisted with making UI updates and generating design assets based on new brand guidelines.

3. Prototyping:

• Explored animated prototypes to enhance user interactions, created start-up and shutdown animations for the insulin pump controller.

• Prototyped different motion concepts for the insulin pump searching and pairing UI.

4. Designing User-Friendly Pairing Experiences and Interfaces:

• Designed user-friendly pairing experiences and interfaces by researching target users and pain points, brainstorming concepts, assessing technical feasibility, and collaborating with technical, system, and security teams.

• Conducted pairing experience testing and analyzed user feedback to improve the design. Improved user experience by generating action plans for each observed issue.

• Utilized Adobe Creative Suite and Figma to develop design concepts and prototypes for a property investment company's website.

• Collaborated closely with the product manager and developers to ensure that the designs were feasible and aligned with technical constraints.

• Communicated technical constraints to the team and provided design solutions that met the needs of both the client and the development team.
