### Artificial Intelligence Intern @ Asan Medical Center (AMC) | Medical Imaging and Intelligence Reality Lab (MI2RL)

- Worked with Professor Jun-Gu Lee to conduct image registration of abdomen MRI scans using Elastix and SimpleITK, two open-source interfaces build upon the Insight Segmentation and Registration Toolkit
- Built a C++ program that optimizes registration hyperparameters and applies rigid and nonrigid transformations by implementing a gradient descent method based on least squares difference in image intensities

- Investigated the potential of blood micro RNA as an affordable biomarker through reverse transcription and quantitative real-time PCR
