# Joanne Chuang > Product Designer Location: United States, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/joannechuang My journey in design began as a kid on the Taipei Metro, where I’d quietly observe and craft stories about the people around me. That early curiosity grew into a design philosophy rooted in empathy, systems thinking, and craft. With a background in cognitive science, data science, and human factors, I bring interdisciplinary approach to understanding user behavior and translating those insights into human-centered experiences. My background allows me to navigate complex systems with analytical depth, bridging qualitative and quantitative research to inform the design of intuitive, intentional, and impactful interactions. Outside of the studio, my passion for rowing and architectural history has taught me ways design shapes how we move and connect. As I continue in my career, I’m drawn to designing collaboratively to support more uplifting, meaningful interactions. I believe that when we build a world rooted in insight, we can create genuine experiences—and perhaps a sense of clarity in a noisy world. In my free time, I love rowing, visiting art museums, and running marathons.
