Farmblox is an IoT platform for farm monitoring and automation. It provides the building blocks for farmers to create farm automation solutions tailored to their operation, helping them reduce labor costs, improve efficiency, and boost yields.

Embue is a platform for multifamily apartment building management and automation. As part of Embue I have accumulated experience working with IoT frameworks and services that receive and process large volumes of sensor data. I took the lead in architecting and implementing a cloud-based system for performing firmware updates of IoT devices in the field, replacing what was once a time-intensive and error-prone manual process, and saving dozens of engineering hours per week.

As part of service engineering I worked to improve and build out multiple products across Wayfair's platform, with the goal of enhancing the customer's post-order experience. In particular, I rebuilt a legacy delivery scheduling application using React, making it more reliable as well as more intuitive for users. I also helped build out new GraphQL endpoints to enable more efficient data retrieval across our products.

I developed an Electron desktop application to visualize and record real-time sensor data generated by VRC Cold Spray Machines. I learned how to build and deploy production desktop apps using Electron, and also gained experience using React, PostgreSQL, and AWS.

I worked with Wayfair's Delivery Experience team to build out features of their site that improve customer experience, and gained experience with full-stack software development using PHP, SQL Server, and React.
