Growing up in the Midwest as a minority and raised with post Korean War sentiments : navigating spaces where I wasn’t fully seen, taking great care of what little I have, and being hella resourceful to supplement for the things I don't : empathy, care, and creativity have acutely guided my approach to design and life. I believe in embracing complexity, integrating diverse needs and perspectives, and pragmatic utopianism.

A senior architectural designer for 6+ years, aka user experience in the built environment, I’m fluent in solving complex design problems that require understanding real user needs, collaborating across disciplines, turning constraints into opportunities, systems thinking, and UI polish. I’ve brought that mindset to building digital tools since pivoting into product design with mentorship from product designers at Meta, further honing my design skills in user research, wireframing and prototyping, interaction design, and utilizing AI-creative agents and -design engineering tools to optimize my design workflow.
