Founding front-end engineer for a hospice operations platform serving 100+ providers and 10,000+ patients. Built and maintained the entire web application from the ground up, working alongside one backend engineer during initial product development and early client acquisition. Developed medical records management, patient admission workflows, and data analytics features that reduced admission processing time by an average of one hour per patient referral.

Built and updated user interface features for a web software platform owned and operated by a virtual healthcare startup. Collaborated with other engineers, designers and product managers to execute new initiatives and features for Vida Health’s provider dashboard, a React-based online application used by coaches and providers to communicate with their clients.

Achievements include a major overhaul of the search feature which has significantly reduced wait times, implementation of a notes feature to streamline the communication process between providers within a care team, and a display of provider metrics.

Built UX/UI features for a cosmetics creation and e-commerce platform owned by a subsidiary of BASF, a multinational chemical producer. Maintained an organized component library to be used by other front-end developers, created individual UI components, implemented unit tests and e2e tests with Cypress, participated in code reviews, and coordinated with the UX team to validate engineering capabilities of designs.

Created, deployed and maintained multiple sites for an online dating, entertainment and social networking company. Designed custom site layouts, developed front-end applications connecting to back-end API data, and launched new affiliate brand sites. Troubleshooted issues with UX/UI features, implemented promotional campaigns and updated content for existing brands.
