I'm a software engineer with over ten year of experience solving technical problems collaboratively.

I enjoy the challenge of building thoughtful, pragmatic things. My professional journey started in civil engineering, where I gained an understanding of how development works at the scale of a city. From there I shifted into building-level energy efficiency, learning the ins and outs of mechanical systems, how they work, how to improve and maintain them. I spent an increasing amount of time developing tools and models to translate my domain knowledge into scalable, automated systems. My passion led me to software engineering, where I had the privilege of implementing the systems and functionality I had designed.

My goal is to continue solving problems by creating excellent software as part of a collaborative team.
