Events & Escalations is the team behind the core monitoring infrastructure that drives events and alerts at Facebook. At its core is Event Store, Facebook's service for the centralized long-term storage (millions of events per minute) of infrastructure-critical event logs. Other services also provide rich searching, online querying and real-time event aggregation, powering multiple other core Facebook infrastructure (FBAR, Alerts, OpsStream, etc).
