Pod lead, Privacy Infrastructure Task Federation and Remediation

Owner of a platform which distributes Privacy work (specifically work associated with technology for parent org - Privacy Infrastructure) across Meta engineers. Owner of remediation ecosystem to advance engineering efficiency for product orgs. Solutions saved 20 eng years for products orgs in the adoption of Privacy Infrastructure org’s technology.

Responsibilities include sprint management, roadmap planning, mentoring other engineers, ensuring product/project impact, collaboration + alignment with stakeholders.

Better Engineering and Operational Excellence eng lead, Privacy Infrastructure:

Eng lead for better engineering and operational excellence program for a ~200 engineer org.

Responsibilities include leading an XFN partnership across SWE and Production Engineers, conducting weekly org-wide post mortems, conducting quarterly system health reviews across Privacy Infrastructure, and influencing teams within the org to invest in performance, reliability, efficiency, and quality during roadmap planning.

I managed three different charters within the Feed Org, my teams were responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of Feed’s client side infrastructure, the same mission statement for content notifications, and owns the representation of content on and off Feed.

I converted to an engineering manager in May 2017 and immediately managed both the backend team that I was an IC on, as well as our sister frontend team. Over the next two years I oversaw a continued product evolution while also ensuring the success of other initiatives within the Tools org for GDPR compliance

In June, 2019, I joined LinkedIn's Feed Frameworks team, responsible for the platformization of LinkedIn's feed ecosystem. This role allowed me to further develop a data-driven mindset while advocating for craftsmanship. My team's charter is to improve the performance, sustainability, and extensibility of the experiences within LinkedIn's Feed. We’ve evolved our charter to also own the representation of content on and off Feed, building experiences for consumption across multiple product pillars within LinkedIn.

I joined LinkedIn as a Sr. Software Engineer on the CRT Team (named for their product - LinkedIn's Central Release Tool. Imagine an Azure/AWS for LinkedIn). Impact: The rewrite increased released cadence at LinkedIn by 50%, and we filed a US Patent (Application #15/609,265) titled “Centralized Flexible Deployment System” in June 2017.

I was a member of Facebook's People Insights and Engineering Organization. Facebook determined that third party vendors within the HR and Recruiting tools space were insufficient, PIE's mission was to provide FB with the products it needed to facilitate company operations at scale.
