Hi! Experienced in: - architecting cloud infrastructure using AWS - building scalable backend microservices with observability - high-performance JavaScript frontends - leading engineering, product, and design to accomplish business milestones I got into hacking game consoles when I was 10 years old.

Los Angeles, California, United States
FinTech company building a financial OS for the trucking industry.
Built apps full-stack using Vue and Ruby on Rails.
Worked on fuel cards (credit cards with fuel discounts), spend control, card management, fraud controls, and vehicle tracking.
Created components within internal frontend design system / component library
Implemented continuous deployment for frontend
2020 â 2023
San Francisco Bay Area
Full-stack SWE working on primarily underwriting and customer-facing projects.
Built and maintained software products end-to-end over multiple years. Created product requirements docs, designs in Figma, product roadmap, and engineering design docs. Aligned with stakeholders. Led a team of engineers to deliver on roadmap. Created and executed on rollout plans. Maintained and added features to projects for more than a year after release. Established reliability and maintenance plans (runbooks, SLOs, etc)
Built Kotlin, Elixir, and Python microservices that communicates over RPC, protobufs, and event-driven architecture. Built GraphQL endpoints. 100% unit test coverage.
Built frontend features and data visualizations using d3.js, TypeScript, React, Storybook, Apollo with Jest unit test coverage
Member of the Component Library Core Team, maintaining the design system and internal React component library used by 100+ engineers at Brex. Reviews PRs, participates in design / architecture reviews, and advocates for frontend best practices.
Member of Frontend Core Group, made of eng managers, Staff+, and nominated engineers to align and drive execution on macro and micro strategy for frontend at Brex
Rebuilt the frontend interview loop from scratch
2019 â 2020
Highest level engineering leader at ONEHOPE. One of two people that leads technology efforts and vision at ONEHOPE. #1 engineer in terms of number of commits and code reviews. Lead infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, and developer productivity at ONEHOPE. Architected high-performance systems and features for the product engineering team to execute on.
Lead migration to current tech stack: React, CSS-in-JS, TypeScript, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Cassandra
Responsible for the hiring and recruiting pipeline. Crafted a structured, fair, and thoughtful interview process with the intention of building a high-performing, inclusive, and diverse engineering team.
Created in-house design system React component library to help developers ship consistent UI's. Reduced library size to 1/3 of original size by applying JavaScript library best practices like ES Modules and tree shaking.
Created a microfrontend architecture to allow developers to use the latest tools in JavaScript, while not being held back by legacy architecture. Managed in a JavaScript monorepo workflow to allow work to be easily reusable across the engineering department and across microfrontend apps. Created a Terraform script that deploys production-ready microfrontends through S3 and Cloudfront within 15 minutes.
Introduced and implemented continuous delivery. Increased production deploys from once every two weeks to seven times a day (70x increase in changes to production)
Identified team's tech debt and aligned the company on engineer allocation on important priorities.
