Architected and built one of Home Depot’s “common services” — high priority enterprise-wide APIs available for internal use. This service was known as Product Catalog and is the one-stop-shop for all information related to product information.

Built the product catalog services with technologies including Kafka, Google Pub/Sub, Cassandra, Scala, and Spark all running in the Google Cloud Platform.

Participated in a Pivotal Labs engagement at their Atlanta office in Ponce City Market where I worked closely with a balanced team of engineers, UX designers, and product managers from Home Depot, Pivotal Labs, and Interline Brands to build a solution for merging the two companies’ product catalogs into one.

Contributed heavily to a brand new product known as Engineered Flow Schedule. EFS was built with Spring Boot and AngularJS and provided a UI and validation engine for users to manage complex transportation schedules for thousands of boats and trucks without worrying about possible data integrity issues.
